Additional Toilets at St Giles
Last December, seeing the queues outside the church toilet at a succession of carol services I vowed that it would be the last. We are still working hard behind the scenes to make this happen - two extra toilets in the present archive room opposite where the toilet is now.
Project to illuminate the church tower
Work on this project began on 25th June and is expected to take three weeks. Please remember to set aside the evening of Sunday, 30th September when Bishop Sarah of London will join us for the 6.30pm service and switch on the lights. Our M.P. will come, perhaps the Mayor. There will be sandwiches - you know the kind of thing.
Re-decorating external paintwork | Church & Vestry House
In the coming weeks we hope that a project to repair and paint the windows of the Vestry House and the outer doors of the Church will take place on a like-for-like basis.
