Musical Settings for Services

Here are the musical settings for services throughout August 2026.

On Sunday mornings throughout August, Holy Communion will be led by Music Director, Jonathan Bunney at 11 am. And on Sunday evenings, the St Giles Choir leads Evensong at 6.30 pm.

The St Giles Choir will be singing services at Manchester Cathedral on Saturday 8th and Sunday 9th August, conducted by Jonathan Bunney, and accompanied by Organist, Iestyn Evans.

Choral services on Thursday evenings (Compline/Evensong) will resume in September.

Psalm chants are from The Anglican Psalter and hymns are generally from The English Hymnal or its supplement, New English Praise.
