As you will know, much of what takes place at St Giles relies on the goodwill of our volunteers. The most visible face of this important work are the sidesmen who greet worshippers, hand out hymn books and serve tea and coffee. The cumulative effect of these smalls acts of service is vital to our mission and we are enormously grateful to everyone who gives their time.

At this season, we renew our request for people to assist by volunteering as sidesmen. It is not a huge commitment - not more than half an hour once a month - and the more people who are available to share the load the easier it is.

If you don't currently volunteer at St Giles and would like to lend a hand, please make yourself known to Wil or Oliver, the churchwardens, or to Alan.
