Parish Visit to Winchester | 22 April

Edward McMillan will be leading a parish visit to Winchester on 22 April, departing from Waterloo Station at 10:05 am. The trip will include a visit to the Fellow's Library of Winchester College and Evensong at the Cathedral. If you are interested in attending, please contact Edward so we can gauge numbers and make travel arrangements. At the moment, a standard advanced return, without a railcard, is £23. The proposed itinerary is as follows:


10:05 - Train from London Waterloo

(10:12 - Calls at Clapham Junction)

11:04 - Arrive Winchester & explore the City

12:15 - Pub Lunch, Queen Inn

14:00 - Visit to Fellows Library, Winchester College

15:30 - Short tour of the College Grounds 17:30 - Choral Evensong, Winchester Cathedral 18:48/19:18 - Train from Winchester

19:49/20:20 - Return to Waterloo


Choir singing at Peterborough Cathedral | 29 April


The St Giles Choir will be singing Evensong at Peterborough Cathedral on Saturday 29 April at 5.30pm. Members of the congregation who would like a trip to see this beautiful and under-visited cathedral are very welcome to join the group. Please contact Jonathan Bunney for more details.
