There will be a noticeable change to worship at St Giles over the Summer as we bid farewell to the St

Giles Quartet and prepare to welcome a new generation of Faith & Music Scholars.

After many years of devoted and distinguished service by the quartet, the time has come to develop our music in a new way by establishing a larger choir of Faith and Music Scholars. It is our hope that this will enable a greater number of gifted musicians to experience singing to a professional standard whilst also exploring music as an expression of faith and, for some, as part of their Christian vocation.

This new venture necessarily means bidding farewell to those whose music has enriched our worship so faithfully over many years. We shall have the opportunity to thank them properly for their dedication and ministry on the final Sunday of July, and I hope many of you will be present as we express our gratitude. After a quiet period in August, the first group of Faith and Music Scholars will join us on St Giles Day, 6 September.
