About the parish
St Giles-in-the-Fields is a church of blessing, encouragement and praise, where knowing and being known by our local community are key to our mission. We maintain a distinctive worship tradition rooted in the Book of Common Prayer and Authorised Version of the Bible. Excellence in church music and preaching are important to us.
We are an outward looking church and engage in a wide range of mission activities in the West End, including supporting the homeless community, the arts and children’s work. Through the St Giles & St George Charities, we also make significant grants to address educational and financial need in central London.
We are committed to be collegial with other local churches, to share our resources with those in need and to play our part in the Diocesan vision for every Londoner to encounter the love of God in Christ.
