Annual Parish Meetings
Updated: Oct 26, 2020
Those among you who pay close attention will have realised that we did not hold our annual parish meetings in April this year, as is normally the case. These are the meetings where the churchwardens and PCC members are elected for the year. It is also the time when the parish as a whole has a chance to review the year passed and review the management of the church.
The lockdown earlier this year caused the meetings to be delayed. The Bishop of London has now granted parishes permission to hold these meetings virtually, so our Annual Parish Meeting and Annual Parochial Church Meeting will take place via Zoom on Tuesday 27th October 2020 at 7pm. Everyone who comes to St Giles or lives in the parish is welcome to take part, so please do put the date in your diary!
Below are details of how to join along with a copy of the accounts for 2019, the agenda and the minutes of last year's meetings.
To join the meeting via Zoom you will need to click the link below. This will allow you to download the free Zoom app on your computer, tablet or phone. If anyone would like to join but is unsure about the technology, please contact Wil, who will try to help. This video also contains helpful information about using Zoom.
